Hassan Fathy - In this report Fathy addresses the problem of harmful and hazardous organisms such as sercaria and bilharzia worms that live within natural water bodies in Egypt. These organisms had continuously been a health hazard for farmers and rural residents who regularly worked and bathed in this natural water habitat. Fathy offers the solution of building an artificial lake with a lock gate which could be filled with previously decontaminated water coming from the source.
