Korn, Lorenz. "Illustrating Islamic Architecture: On Visual Presentation and Scholarship." International Journal of Islamic Architecture 10, 1 (2021): 171-190.

Through its brief survey of Islamic architecture’s representation in print, the highly illustrated essay ultimately reveals how varying interests (and capacities) have produced representations of varying qualities and efficacy.
