Madrasa at Chanderi
Chanderi, India
The monument known as the Madrasa is a tomb with a square plan, surrounded by a pillared arcade with five pointed arches on each side. The central dome, and domes on each of the four corner engaged columns, have collapsed. The square interior is enclosed on all but the northern entrance side with pierced masonry screens in arched opening. The tomb is dated to ca. 1425/828 AH.
