Tombs at Thalner
Thalner, India
The Faruqi dynasty (1382-1600/783-1008 AH) built a group of tombs at Thalner, now a small village in Dhulia district, Maharashtra.  The tombs are buillt in groups, on plinths, with the main group made up of five square and one octagonal tomb.

Tomb 1 has a large central arched panel flanked by engaged octagonal pilasters on each side and is octagonal inside. It has a tall central dome, originally flanked by four corner domes, and an inscription stating that Miran Mubarak Khan (d. 1457/861 AH) is buried there.
Tomb 2 is a small square tomb on the east side of the plinth with one central dome. Each side of the tomb has 3 masonry-filled arched panels with Hindu-style pillars. It is believed to be the Tomb of Alktatmish Khan.
Tomb 3 is a square tomb at the western end of the plinth, believed to be the tomb of Adil Khan Faruqi. The south facade has four blind niches, the north facade has an entrance door, and the east and west walls are unadorned. There is a main dome and four smaller corner domes.
Tomb 5 is a small square tomb with one tall dome.
Tomb 6 is an octagonal tomb of brick and plaster that stands to the south of the other tombs. The tomb's plinth has collapsed, as well as the dome and the west and northwest walls. The remaining walls are covered with carved designs. The tomb supposedly belongs to a brother of Mubarak Khan.
Tomb 7 is a small square whitewashed tomb with a nearly hemispherical dome. It holds a marble cenotaph said to be that of Hazrat Shah Raja.
Tomb 8 is a ruined building said to belong to wazir al-'Azam Muhi al-Din.
Tomb 9 is a small structure attributed to Amin al-Din.
Tomb 10 stands on a high plinth separate from the main group. It is a square brick tomb with stucco facing and a tall dome, and arched niches of Mughal shape flanking openings on the exterior. It is said to belong to Bibi Areza.
