Dr. Mohamed Saleh Makiya receives the inaugural Tamayouz Lifetime Achievement Award
Dr. Mohamed Saleh Makiya, the founder of the Baghdad School and the pioneer of regional architecture, was awarded the 2014 Tamayouz Lifetime Achievement Award in architecture. The Tamayouz Lifetime Achievement award, which aims to celebrate the pioneers of Iraqi Architecture, is Iraq’s most prestigious architecture prize.
