Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The park was conceived within an urban setting as microenvironment suited for birds. Being the largest of its kind, the project presented a rare challenge of striking a harmonic balance between man, bird, and the environment. The depth and span of the project provided a void sizable for the birds to fly while the narrow width kept them within discernible sight of visitors. From the entrance pavilion, through pathways, along streams, waterfalls, and sheds, visitors are presented with a unique spatial experience.
