Emine Fetvaci is a scholar of Islamic art and architecture, specializing in the early-Modern period and in the arts of the book in particular. Her research has addressed the roles of illustrated albums in Ottoman Turkey and the relationship between book arts and other forms of art and architecture in the early-Modern Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal Empires. As of May 2020, Fetvaci is professor of Islamic art at Boston University.
