Adolf Renschhausen

Adolf Renschhausen was a German businessman and real estate developer who as active in Tangier, Morocco from 1890 to 1914, particularly in developing the region around the beachfront.  This came to an end in 1914 with the outbreak of the First World War.  German residents were sent to camps in Algeria, and Renschhausen was convicted of spying, sentenced to 15 years in prison.
