A New York City-based architecture and design firm operating as Swanke Hayden Connell Architects since 1981. The firm was founded in 1906 as Walker & Gillette, and subsequently operated as the Office of Alfred Easton Poor, 1925-1945; Walker & Poor, 1946-1951; Office of Alfred Easton Poor, 1952-1971; Poor and Swanke & Partners, 1972-1975; Poor, Swanke, Hayden & Connell, 1975-1979; and Swanke Hayden Connell & Partners, 1979-1981.
