As you are perhaps aware the term "deconstruction" has its source in philosophical writings of Jacques Derrida.
Therefore it is imperative that you study the source to understand the concept.
Deconstruction in Architecture is a different ball game altogether.
All theoretical concepts do not necessarily translate into successful built projects,and often degenerate into
self gratifying and whimsical creations
earning 15 minutes of fame.
It may sound reactionary but you have to have a construct before you deconstruct.
