I should like to ask the author if he can tell me where there are grottoes in Istanbul. I am interested in grottoes in Egyptian gardens of the 19th century, of which there are several. But I cannot locate any in Istanbul, apart, perhaps for one at Ihlamur. Alix Wilkinson
