Museum of Islamic Art Park
Doha, Qatar

The park complementing the Museum of Islamic Art is a crescent shaped land fill that sweeps out from the Doha Corniche and offers a sea view of the Museum with the backdrop of the Doha skyline. The centerpiece of the park is a monumental vertical sculpture by Richard Serra positioned as a beacon at the tip of park. The park has 5 Km of lighted pedestrian pathways shaded by native palm trees, in addition to a café and kiosks offering refreshments. It hosts public activities such as films screenings, sports events, storytelling programs and art workshops.
