Beiout al-Sharq Housing Project
Jiddah, Saudi Arabia
A housing project of 200 two-storey villas for middle-income families, arranged on a rectangular plot with a pedestrian axis through the centre. The villas are of various sizes; all incorporate external courtyard spaces. The master plan aims to integrate the open and closed spaces within the entire estate, and public facilities include a mosque, a club, playgrounds, and a supermarket.
