Khayyatin Khan Restoration
Tripoli, Lebanon
A partial restoration of a Mamluk khan constructed in the 14th century. It is currently used by tailors, using the shops on the ground floor. On the restored second floor, are a series of rooms overlooking the shops. The roof is peirced by openings to allow natural light into the stone structure.
