Puerta Nueva
Granada, Spain
This rectangular gated tower, also called Puerta Nueva, was built at the end of the eleventh century. It provided access to the Qasba al-Qadima through the Zirid-built walls. It has two barrel-vaults that meet in a cross vault, all constructed with brick.
