The project is part of a programme for the relocation of all ministerial buildings to a newly developed area situated 25km from the capital. The two-storey building is formed by four linked, polygonal blocks organized around a central courtyard and linked to form a triangular site. Each block is composed of a cluster of four octagonal units providing a column-free space for offices. Each block is self-sufficient with a central core accommodating services. The construction technique was the reinforced concrete frame and slabs cast in-situ with hollow concrete block infill, textured plaster rendering of façades, achieved by a technique developed in-situ.
