Qasim Khan Tomb Restoration

The project focus is the restoration of the interior decoration of the 17th century domed mausoleum hall and the re-opening of the tomb chamber to public access. The basic structural system is formed by arcuate and squinched domes built in bricks. The infill material is brick laid in Kankar lime, with floors of marble. The fresco decoration is realised on lime plaster.
