It is dedicated to a saint and poet of the early Mughal court, Jalal Khan or Sheikh Fadlullah (d. 1535), known as 'Jamali', together with an unidentified companion known as 'Kamali'. The tomb is next to the mosque, the Jamali Kamali Mosque, which was a private commission by Jamali.
