The Qatar Foundation Headquarters building is the main office space of the Qatar Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in education, research, and community development. It was designed by&nbsp;<a href="http://archnet.org/authorities/8993" target="_blank" data-bypass="true">Rem Koolhaas</a>&nbsp;and his architectural firm&nbsp;<a href="http://archnet.org/authorities/8739" target="_blank" data-bypass="true">OMA</a>. Construction began in 2012 and the building was completed in 2017.<div> </div><div>The headquarters building is in the shape of a cube with two piled sections meant to resemble two stacked volumes. It is 57 meters tall and has over 29,000 square meters of office space.
