Designed as an iconic structure standing at the entrance to the new city centre of Shah Alam, on the western border of Kuala Lumpur, the building houses the headquarters of a leading real estate development company in Malaysia. A collaboration between a Malaysian and a Bangladeshi architectural firm, the project is designed to be monumental, raised on a series of tall columns, with a concrete canopy soaring above, but at the same time energy-efficient and adaptable to the tropical climate: it utilizes passive design principles and has an integrated vision of nature, with a green roof, natural light, and a rainwater reservoir and landscaping at ground level.
