This document is in regard to a competition held between Egyptian architects for the design of the mosque and shrine of the late President, Gamal Abdel Nasser. Fathy describes the general concepts sought for the design, which were the perpetual, humanistic, and political accomplishments of the late President and how they can be best materialized in the design and planning of the complex. He also outlines the provisions and directives for the competition.
