This essay explores the use of digital platforms and research methods in the production and creation of research in the field of Islamic architecture. Beginning with a review of the first forays into digital architectural history in 2010, it then moves on to more current scholarly journals. Other digital research tools and classroom resources are considered, and the essay concludes with a discussion of the challenges scholars and publishers face in this arena.
