This set of plans on Archnet is a complete set of the Insurance Plan of Cairo, issued by Charles E. Goad, a London-based civil engineer, in 1905. The fire insurance maps show building footprints, usages, and materials.

The plan includes 12 sheets at 1/600 scale, two key maps at 1/2,400 scale, and an index of street and building names. The plans cover approximately 100 hectares in the Old Town section of Cairo.
