This document comprises the 140 typewritten notes send by Paul Bowles to the Library of Congress on the field recordings he made in Morocco.
Page 1-4 include a list of instruments and descriptions, an introductory note on the collection. The rest of the document is composed of detailed notes on the recording sessions. The bulk of the document was composed in 1959 and consists of notes received by the Library in December of that year. Also included are notes on recordings made between 1960-1962 that Bowles added to the collection.
