Islamic Community Center of Laurel
Laurel, United States
The Islamic Community Center of Laurel was completed in the early 1990s. According to Omar Khalidi, it was constructed by the architects K. Shahid Rab and Hashim Naqvi. It is a rectangular-plan one-story building, with brown stone facing on the bottom half of the facade and white on the top, with green accents. A small covered portico sits on the northwest side of the building. There is no dome or minaret.

A planned expansion would add on to the rear of the building and greatly increase the Center's space.
