A hill with a spring to the north of&nbsp;<a href="http://archnet.org/authorities/3903" target="_blank">Rayy</a>. &nbsp;In the 1930s archeological excavations unearthed 7,000 year-old artifacts indicating the long history of settlement in the area. &nbsp;In 1831/1246 AH, the&nbsp;<a href="http://archnet.org/timelines/48/period/Qajar/year/1818" target="_blank">Qajar</a>&nbsp;ruler&nbsp;Fath-Ali Shah had a&nbsp;portrait of himself and other Qajar princes engraved in the rock.&nbsp;
