The Ikhlassiya Takiya, located in the Bayada quarter, was built by the wazir Muhammed Basha Arnaout in 1634 in honor of the Sheikh Ikhlas Khalwati (died 1074). It is now used as the Rifai hermitage (khalwa) where his follower congregate in religious seclusion.
