Haft Tepe
Haft Tepe, Iran
Haft Tepe (ancient city of Kabnak) is a city in southwest Iran, located in Khuzistan Province about 10 km southeast of Susa. The city was built by the Elamites and flourished ca. 1505-1350 BCE. Its 14 major mounds cover an area of approximately 1 x 1.5 km. The site may have been a religious center, and a Tomb Temple Complex and two large terraces or platforms of sun-dried and baked brick have been uncovered.
