Riffa Fort Restoration
Rifa'a, Bahrain
Restoration and reconstruction of a 17th century fort which was later converted into a residence in the 18th century. The fort, constructed from desert stone, clay, palm tree trunks, and mangrove poles, contains 35 rooms organised around three courtyards in a square plan.
