Asian Civilisations Museum
Singapore, Singapore
Adaptive re-use of - and extension to - a colonial-style building from a school to a museum. Efforts were made to respect the original state and to separate (both visually and structurally) the new from the historic structure. The new extension was constructed in reinforced concrete, with brick and block infill, and oak floors.
