The Bengal Institute, with the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, conducted a special course on architecture that shapes our thinking and practice: Learning from the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.
This public lecture by Eike Roswag-Klinge, an Aga Khan Award for Architecture winner (with Anna Heringer) in 2007 for the School in Rudrapur in Bangladesh, discusses natural buildings and their cultural, climatic and traditional values. His work focuses on buildings made of earth, bamboo and timber, reflecting the options and potentials of the post-fossil society – the society of change.
