Al-Mujahideen Madrasa
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
The constructing site is triangular in shape which implied that one side of the structure will be exposed directly to the sunlight. This results in classrooms arranged in a saw-tooth form. Facilities are shared by both the madrasa and a mosque. Most of the rooms on the first and second floor lead off from a corridor on the perimeter of the courtyard space, and it is this space which enhances the cross ventilation of the rooms.
