Description	The MIT Electronic Journal of Middle East Studies (MIT-EJMES) is a new, internet-based journal publishing scholarly writing -- both interdisciplinary work and work within the traditional boundaries of the social sciences and humanities -- related to the modern Middle East. MIT-EJMES is a non-partisan publication and does not support or discriminate against any ideological, political, or religious viewpoint. In accordance with standard academic practice, articles submitted for publication to MIT-EJMES are subject to a process of blind peer review. MIT-EJMES is published bi-annually. Book and media reviews are posted all year round.
