Jobs Listings   Contribute a job listing Position Bentley BIM trainer Category Professional Employer PEAK Location NC Country United States Description The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Compliance Specialist will develop and maintain a BIM file submittal review process. Provide BIM file submittal review for compliance with the RFP requirements. Review each BIM submittal for compliance with the RFP requirements. (i.e., naming conventions, layering conventions, etc.). Use validation software to complete objective report which shows inconsistencies with established standards. Provide a subjective report utilizing comments and suggestions to correct deficiencies. Provide BIM electronic Conformance / Deficiencies Reports to Record Document Specialist and Client for resolution with document provider. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Field Managers, CAD Specialist, Record Document Specialist and Land Development Engineer Document Administrator. Act as a resource and trainer to the project / program team for BIM requirements; primarily to the Design-Build and Design Bid Build AEs to verify compliance with BIM standards. Training and Experience · BA / BS in Architecture or Engineering preferred, but all relevant experience shall be considered. · Three to four years experience in Bentley BIM and CAD in an Architecture or Engineering environment. · Must possess excellent customer service skills, self-motivation and be willing to learn and work with minimal supervision. · Strong computer skills including the use of CAD and BIM software required. · Licensed in Architecture or Engineering is a plus. · Experience with document management and records retention is a plus. · The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as strong attention to detail. · Periodic travel between local offices and remote Project Site will be required.
