Click on the "Edit Biography" link.

Paste in the text.
Select "Plain Text" or "HTML".
Click on the "Submit Changes" button.

Edit Curriculum Vitae
Click on the "Edit Curriculum Vitae" link.

Paste in the text.
Select "Plain Text" or "HTML".
Click on the "Submit Changes" button. (See below.)

Change Password
You may change your password at any time.
Log in to ArchNet using your old password. (Forgotten your password?)
Go to "My Profile" and click on "Change Password."

Type in your old password.
Type in your new password.
Type your new password again to confirm.
Click on the "Change Password" button. (See below.) The change is instantaneous.

Edit Email Alerts
You can set the email alerts to let you know when new material is added to the ArchNet site.
Click on "Edit Email Alerts."

You can be notified when new material is added to the ArchNet News, Calendar, Discussion Forum, Member Profiles, Careers, or Course Syllabi. The default is "no." To receive emal alerts:
Click on "Yes" for the area where you want to receive alerts.
Set the form of Notification, by clicking on "One-line description" or "Full description."
Set the Type of Posting, by clicking on "All new postings" or "Postings that contain...." (for typing in a keyword).
Click on the "Update Alert" button. NOTE: The Update Alert button has to be clicked for every section (news, calendar, careers, etc. ).

Edit Privacy/Visibility Controls
You can control how much information is available to others.
Click on "Edit Privacy/Visibility Controls."

Select the level of visibility by clicking on the appropriate button. Information can be kept private, shown to ArchNet members, or shown to the public (unregistered visitors).
Click on the "Update" button. Changes are instantaneous.
Note: the visibility levels for your image and file collections are controlled in those areas.

To check what others see about you, click on "View what other Archnet members see about you" or "View what the public (non-registered vistors) see about you ."
