Competition for Arhitectural and Urban solution for the square of Slavija in Belgrade is announce this year.(2005.) On competition groups of students are participate too. Gropu ZZS iz take part on this competition and on this web page is presentation of our solution.
Our solution is consist of:
Slavija is absorbed as anding of trading zone
who starts in Knez Mihailova.
Our idea was to set up a red walking strips
who would start in Knez Mihailova.
Red strip would make a cupol above the square of Slavija.
Under that cupol would create a brand new micro environment..
In that new environment would precede comecials buildings.
Ambient would be open in one side but on the other side
they would make massive street front.
In ambients would precede hotels, banks...
They would be totaly separate from the square of Slavija
and within them life and work would goes totaly independent
