am final year student from lebanon..and i need help in chosing my thesis ..my interests are focused in solving social problems..concerning relegions ...so much diversity ..or anything interestin solving environmental or urban problems

How do you explain providing solutions to social and religious problems through architecture? Finding solutions to Environmental and urban problems is clear and understandable because to some extent they can be quantified.
The former needs a deep introspection and is fairly complicated.
Do you want to pick up disturbed sites like Ayodhya in India, or a warzone, or the borders like that of India and Pakistan, dividing wall in Belfast? There are many such physical boundaries, which are never satisfactorily addressed by architecture. Though there are a number of memorials and museums standing as the reminisces, there are very few attempts which addresses the present/contemporary issues. Any such attempt is the need of the hour.

ok ok ...first am lost in all this ..!!1st wats about havin my thesis on natural care center that solve an urban problems..hanging gardens ..a project that contains levels of well designed spaces of gardens in the center of beirut ..in a small area where 35 % of lebanese co-exist ..a place to practice yoga ...evrthn natural..a place to breath ...

Majed, the murmur of flowing water in the garden would be soothing. So have the garden on several levels with both steps and winding paths and shade.
