Robert Ivy

Robert Ivy, FAIA, architect and editor, became Editor in Chief of Architectural Record in October 996. The author of numerous magazine articles, his award-winning book entitled FayJones was reissued in 200I. Ivy is currently a fellow of the American Institute of Architects, the Philippine Institute of Architects, the Institute for Urban Design, a former regent of the American Architectural Foundation, and a peer reviewer for the US General Services Administration. He received a degree in architecture from Tulane University. In 2002, the US Department of State appointed Ivy as US Commissioner to the Venice Biennale of Architecture. In 2003, Ivy was appointed Vice President and Editorial Director,
McGraw-Hill Construction, with responsibilities for twelve publications.
